Include
- A rainbow of brightly colored veggies
- High-quality protein such as oily fish, lean meat (preferably organic), eggs, and fermented soy products
- Whole grains
- Healthy fats such as extra virgin olive, flaxseed, and walnut oils
- Green tea, Kombucha fermented “tea”
- Anti-inflammatory spices and herbs like ginger, turmeric, and cinnamon
Limit
- Fruits and vegetables like bananas or potatoes
- Processed meats and cheeses
- Refined grains and sweets (including dairy desserts)
- Omega-6-rich oils and saturated fats
- Soft drinks, alcohol, and milk
Exclude
- trans fats and high fructose corn syrup, along with anything artificial
