10 Tips for Mother

10 Tips for Mother

There is no job more demanding—and rewarding—than being a mother. Treat her right on her special day. Surprise your mom with things you know she’ll enjoy. If you’re a mother, take some time for yourself. Here are some suggestions for the whole family.

Moms, consider these ideas:
1. Put on your sneakers, grab a bottle of water, and head out for a long walk—alone or with a friend. Ideally, find a favorite nature spot with grand trees or water.
2. Get a massage or a manicure. Or opt for a pedicure to get ready for sandal weather.
3. Pamper yourself with a warm bubble bath. Add scented oil, a candle, and soothing music. Be sure you lock the door and tell the kids you’re on holiday.
4. Treat yourself to a new essential oil or body product, a spring bouquet, or your favorite author’s latest book.

Dads, here are some ways to spoil the mother of your kids:
5. Make her breakfast in bed. She’ll love a healthy fruit salad and multigrain pancakes with a nice cup of tea.
6. Rent Mom’s favorite movie and then take the kids out for a few hours.
7. Run the vacuum and you’ll be her hero. Or even better, handle the dishes for the day—or for the week.

For Kids:
8. Rub Mom’s feet, hands, or back with her favorite lotion.
9. Clean your room, walk the dog, or fold the laundry without being asked. You can help with the dishes too, or make some food she’ll like.
10. Last but certainly not least, tell your mom she’s the best one in the world. Sharing love is so important!
